C18, C19. Old timber frame of 2 periods (each of 2 bays meeting at a slight angle)with a lower outbuilding, mainly an open shed on the inner side, extending on the west side and turning at right angles to form a visual link with the house at a prominent corner. The barn truss has straight struts and there is an aisle east of the central (south facing) cantilevered entrance. Corrugated asbestos roofing (some corrugated iron) over the barn but tiling (inner corrugated iron) over the shed. Weather-boarded walling to the barn; the outer wall of the shed is red brickwork in Flemish bond, with blue headers. Included for group value.
