c18, early C20. Old cornmill, enlarged and converted. North-south mill with attached house (of one storey and attic) at the north end, with the corn store on its west incorporated and extended, to form an L-shaped all-residential block. The old elevation (east) has a tile roof, with 3 hipped dormers to the house part (with cills at eaves level), boarded walling to the mill, above 2 water channels, the house being of painted brickwork with 2 cambered openings with keystones on either side of a central doorway. Casements; 6-flush panelled door beneath a small canopy. The later work continues the traditional form, enriched by a massive stepped stack, some flint panelling to the brickwork (Flemish and Flemish Garden wall bond) and oak-framed leaded casements.
