C18. 1 building now 2 shops. Red brick, south facade slate hung. Brick modillion
eaves cornice and parapet. Sashes with late C19 glazing and stuccoed lintels.
Reproduction early C19 shop windows.
All the listed buildings on High Street and Union Street, with the listed street
lamps form a group, together with Nos land 2 and the Parish Church of St Peter
and St Paul, Church Place and with the Red Lion Hotel and No 10 East Street. (No
45, High Street is of local interest).
