Founded 1653. Block of 4 cottages. 2 storeys; 6 bays in the rhythm window-coupled
doors-window, twice. Brick; tiled roof. Each half of the block consists, on
the ground floor, of a central pair of oak doors with heavy wrought-iron strap
hinges within a single moulded oak frame flanked by 4-light mullioned and lattice-paned
casement windows and, on the 1st floor, 2 windows similar but with brick hood
moulds. All windows with stuccoed coverings to mullions and frames. Moulded
stringcourse at 1st floor level. Eaves cornice. VCH, Hants II, p 483.
