5/1 The Manor House


Farmhouse. Early C18, altered late C18 and C19. Brick rendered, plain
tile roof. 2 storey, 3 bay house with 2 bay late C18 addition to one end
and C19 wing to rear. Front has C19 rectangular flat-roofed porch, with
later 12-pane sash to front, each side canted bay with 12-pane sash to
front, small sash on sides. Above three 16-pane sashes with louvred
shutters. To RH addition with 3 12-pane sashes and above two 12-pane
sashes with louvred shutters. Stacks each end of original building at
RH end.
