7/35 Reassembled ruins
of Netley Abbey,
5 m N of The Castle


Ruins. C13 masonry moved and reassembled mid C18. Dressed and rubble
stone. Ruins of N transept of Netley Abbey now reassembled has pointed
arch on clustered shafts with buttress to one side and further shafts to
other and separate large pier of stone with more shafts on angles.
