Listing Text

4/34 Barton House
House. Late C18, with mid C19 extensions. Front wall of brickwork in blue
headers (colourwashed), plinth, rubbed flat arches (plastered), stone cills.
Tile roof, hipped dormers. Symmetrical east front of two storeys and attic three
windows. Sashes in reveals. Porch with reeded pilasters; plain Tuscan columns,
simple pediment, and 8-panelled door. The other parts of the building are of
vernacular character, with some tile-hanging, upper sashes and lower casements.
