Ice house. Probably late C18. Sandstone and brick. Egg-shaped, domed
pit with cambered sides, approximately 30 feet in depth; round-arched
entrance tunnel with sunken cooling chamber and re-used door with six
raised and fielded panels, fitted during mid-C20. A particularly interest-
ing example of a large ice house in good condition.
