House. Circa 1600 with mid-C19 and mid-C20 alterations. Timber-framed
with rendered infill on limestone rubble base and with rubble end walls.
Three framed bays aligned east/west, large rubble chimney at east end with
bread oven and brick ridge end stack. Single storey and attic with dormers.
Framing: two and three panels from sill to wall-plate, no roof trusses visible
externally. North entrance elevation: irregular fenestration with C19 and C20
casements; there is a 3-light window under a cambered head, a 2-light window
and three single-light windows on the ground floor and two eyebrow dormers
with a 3-light and a 2-light window. The present main entrance to the left
of the central bay has a partly-glazed C20 door. Attic light in west gable
end. C19 lean-to addition at east end. Interior not inspected but noted
as having retained its large fireplace in the east bay.
