Barn. Probably late C17 to early C18, with later alterations. Sandstone
rubble and timber-frame with wattle infill, partly clad in corrugated iron.
Pantile and corrugated iron roof. Rectangular seven-bay plan aligned north-
east/south-west. Two levels. North-west elevation has full-height, roughly
central entry to centre and raking-top opening above corrugated iron wall-
cladding to right-hand side. To left of entry is sandstone ground floor with
oak-framed doorway. Above is a row of exposed square panels with riven woven
oak infill. North gable is sandstone rubble with square loft-opening and small
square opening to right of ledged oak door. Interior has raking strut trusses
and one with three posts from tie to collar and V-struts above collar. Included
for group value. (RCHM, Vol II, p 47).
