4/26 Well on the Village Green



Village well. Late C19 - early C20 for Lady Henry Somerset of Eastnor
Castle. Brick rear wall; pyramidal plain tiled roof supported on 4 braced,
timber posts. On the rear wall are 2 Italian Renaissance style terracotta
reliefs: Brick wall head with stone slab. Surrounding the Green is a
contemporary. Chain railing supported by a series of fluted cast iron up-
rights (not included).
