Farmhouse. Early C17, extended late C17 with mid-C19 and some mid-C20
alterations. Timber-frame with painted brick and rendered infill, extended
in painted sandstone ashlar, tile roof. L-plan with ranges extending to
south (early C17) and to east (late C17); porch on north front late C17
with baffle-entry against stack. North front: gabled timber range to right,
porch to right of centre, stone range to left; two storeys with attic lit by
window in gable; 3-light stone mullioned window to left, canted oriel to porch;
ground floor: blocked single-light window to left, 4-light stone mullioned
window, blocked entrance to front of porch, to right a C20 casement. Framing:
porch close-studded with straight braces to first floor with substantial
jetty over stone ground floor; cross-wing four square panels high.
