GV II

House. Circa 1600, floor inseted and brick cased in C18, brick rear
extension c.1974. Timber frame on brick sill, white weatherboarded at N
and, brick cased on W and S with tilehung S gable. Steep old red tile
roofs. A 1½ storeys house facing W with 2 gabled plastered dormers at
the eaves. 3 2-light flush casement windows under segmental arches.
Entrance now in extension. The pound keeper's cottage, at one time a
'charity cottage' for the poor of the parish.
