1/8 The Manor House



House. Late C17 remodelling of C16 timber frame. Red brick, old
tile roof of 2 ridges. 4 wood mullioned and transomed leaded
casements including stair light. 5-window, symmetrical garden
elevation with rubbed brick dressings and floor band. Wood
mullioned and transomed casements and door with scroll-bracketed
hood. Interior with C17 panelling on SW ground floors. C17
doors. Central newel baluster staircase. Once owned by Sir
William Parr, brother of Catherine Parr, last Queen of Henry VIII.
