House. Circa 1900, once the Rectory. Owned and inhabited 1906
to 1950, by George Bernard Shaw. Mauve brick with red brick
dressings, gabled old tile roof. 2 storeys and attics. 2
parapeted gables, E one larger, and 4 segmental-headed casement
windows. Broad tapering chimney stacks. Interior contains
unaltered decoration and furniture, including many pictures and
objects relating to Shaw and his work.
