Inn. C17 or earlier. Timber frame on paintea brick plinth,
plastered with traces of panelled pargetting on main range.
Brick crosswing on S projecting to rear is probably earlier than
main range. Front painted. Steep old red tile roofs. Large
central chimney in main range rising in front roof slope. 2
storeys, 2-windows long. Crosswing has a gable parapet with
kneelers on brick corbels, a square sundial in the top of the
gable, above a 3-light casement window on each floor. Cellar
under crosswing. Main range has flush windows with moulded
surrounds, a small casement window and Yorkshire sliding
casements widely spaced. 6-panel door in simple doorcase with
small hood on brackets. Freestanding sign on post. Interior has
ovolo moulded axial beam in middle room.
