Pair of picturesque lodges. Circa 1890. Roughcast with timber
detail. Plain tile roofs. Ornamental cut brick tall chimney
stacks. Canted plans with 2 Jacobean style gabled wooden porches
facing each other. Cussed gables. Rear splayed winds with
timbered eaves dormers, the rear gables also timberframed. Twin
casement windows. Dwarf brick wall curved round in front of
lodges and 4 brick gate piers, 2 still with ball finials.
Included for group value with Knebworth House.
