Former lodge to Kitwells (not listed), now house. Mid C19. Red brick with
black brick dressings. Thatched roof on timber supports. Gothic cottage
orne. L plan 1 storey. Semi octagonal bays to ends of L. Pointed arched
gauged brick heads to casements. Black brick courses at impost level and
over arches. Plinth. Projecting thatch supported on crude timber posts
at regular intervals with segmental arches to thatch between forming a
rustic peristyle. Entrances in right return and to rear. Diagonally set
stacks, 2 to front ridge and 1 at angle. Interior not inspected.
