House. 1838. Brick with stone dressings, slate roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays
2:1:2. Late C19 door and fanlight with radial glazing in panelled reveals.
Porch with raised bases to Tuscan columns and pilasters supporting
entablature. Sashes with glazing bars, stone sills, and cambered wedge
lintels throughout. First floor band. End and rear stacks, hipped roof.
Built as the house of the master of the Union Workhouse, the buildings of
which survive to the rear, but which are not of special interest.
