SE 74 SW (east side)

7/35 Methodist Chapel

Chapel. Late C18 with additional bay to left of 1868. Red brick with
pantile roof and stone dressings. Single storey, 4 bays 1:1:2. 4 panel
door with overlight with glazing bars in pilastered door-case flanked by
sashes with sills and glazing bars under flat gauged brick arches. Stepped
and dentilled eaves cornice. Raised coped gables with oculi. Interior:
rail, with turned balusters, and readers' desk with sunk moulded panels and
scrolls to lectern, flanked by balustrade, survive.
