GV II

Farmhouse, now house pair. Early C17, with early C20 facade. Timber
framed. Front elevation pebbledashed. Left gable end brick on ground
floor, right gable end weatherboarded, both pebbledashed to first
floor. Plain tile roof. Lobby entry plan of 4 timber-framed bays and
stack bay; two bays forming two rooms to left of stack and two bays
forming one room to right of stack. 2 storeys. Hipped roof. Multiple
red and grey brick ridge stack slightly to right of centre. Irregular
fenestration of 5 casements; one small two-light to left and another
to right, one shallow three-light oriel window on shaped brackets
with heads under eaves each side of stack, and small single light
under stack. Half-glazed door in small gabled brick porch towards
left end and another to rear elevation to right. Interior: Exposed
framing with two rectangular panels per storey. Gunstock-jowled
posts. Chamfered beams. Edge-halved scarf joints. Each oriel window
has a wooden cill and blocked two-light ovolo-moulded mullion frieze
windows. Partly-blocked two-light ovolo-moulded mullion window under
stack. Brick fireplace with wooden bressumer. Formerly known as
Little Mill Farm.
