A timber-framed house, possibly C17. 2 storeys timber-framed with brick infilling.
Right side portion has herringbone brick infilling on 1st floor and chequer pattern
of brick laid alternately in horizontal or vertical positions. Thatched roof with
eyebrow dormer. Left side Flemish curved gable with blocked round window and C19
outside chimney stack. Irregular modern fenestration.
Nevin, Cherry Lane, Great Mongeham shall be amended to read Nos 226 and 228
Mongeham Road
