Sheerland House
TQ 9345 27/13
This was the home farm of the Surrenden Dering estate, and was built in 1813
during the minority of Sir Edward Cholmeley Dering, 8th Baronet, (1807-1896).
Three storeys and attics ashlar with galleting. Hipped slate roof with one
gabled dormer. Bracket eaves cornice. Three Dering windows. Gabled porch
with the date 1313 in it.
