4-10-1967 Crow Trees Farmhouse)

House, 1690, altered. Slobbered rubble with slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays.
Windows rebated and chamfered with mullions, all of 2 lights except for
those to the 2nd bay which are of 3 lights. The single-storey gabled porch
in the 3rd bay appears to be an addition of c.1900. It has a re-set
W
cyma-moulded door surround with battlemented lintel inscribed: 'HIW 1690'.
Above is a shield carved with a slung horn. Gable chimneys, the right-hand
one projecting at 1st floor level on stone corbels. The right-hand gable
wall has 2 one-light rebated and chamfered windows on each floor. Interior
not accessible at time of survey, but said to contain no features of
architectural interest.
