C18 origins, C19 features, 3 storeys, rendered. Moulded eaves cornice, No 31 has
centre door, semi-circular fanlight and pediment over. 2 windows of 2 lights to
ground floor below 2 2-light windows and a central single light. In the 3rd storey,
3 single-light windows. No glazing bars. No 29 is of 2 storeys and has 1 window
of 2 lights and 1 single above 1 of 2 lights and pedimented doorway. No 33 is lower
than No 31 but is of 3 storeys with 1 window to ground floor and a door with cornice
over and a small passage door. In the upper storeys are 2 windows each. No glazing
bars.
Nos 19 to 43 (odd) of which Nos 19 to 27 (odd) and Nos 35 to 43 (odd) are buildings
of local interest, form a group with Nos 1 to 9 (odd) Lowergate.
