Early C17 house refronted in early C18. Parapet, partly repaired with
brick. Stone rendered. Steep roof of stone slates. 2 moulded stone
stacks. Good lead rainwater head and spouting. 2-storeys. Burley Road
elevation - Gable end of south wing breaks forward. Irregularly placed
windows in plain reveals, cemented flat arches, centre 1 with moulded stone
frame with keystone. Glazing bars. Modern door set in moulded stone
doorcase with shouldered architrave, with pulvinated frieze and moulded
cornice. Bull Lane elevation - Several 2-light stone mullion windows.
Interior has good early C17 staircase with "barley sugar" turned balusters.
1 ground floor room has early C18 panelling and fireplace of the same period
in pantry.
Nos 3 to 17 (odd) form a group .
