Large house, original dwelling possibly late C16, extended in C18 and C19. Coursed
rubble throughout. 2 storeys. Pair of gables face the street, with central doorway
with overlight and 12-light sash windows with architraves in right hand gable
with earlier openings also visable. Flat quoins to sashes for left hand gable.
Central brick stack, possibly the original C16 stack, visible between the roof
and a moulded stone stack caps each gable. 2 hipped C19 wings to left. Right hand
range is the earlier. Its main facade is a 4 window range, with various wood and
stone mullioned windows, only one of which retains a significant amount of original
work, remains of a flat-splay mullion cut through by a later window. Left hand range
is C18, extended by additional wings in C19. C19 plasterwork inside.
