House, mainly mid C18, perhaps with earlier core. Rough cast, with thin slate roof and C19 yellow brick chimneys with ornate (locally made?) pots. Two storeys, five bays unevenly spaced. Double door with rectangular fanlight and recessed porch. Sixteen-light sash windows. Axial and gable stacks. Small wing projects to left, beyond this, a two and half storey block of rough cast brick with central stack and segmental arched heads to casement windows. House is oriented away from village street, and to rear are various C19 gables and wings.
