Primary School


School, mid C19, of Charnwood granite rubble with ashlar dressings and 2-span
Swithland slate roofs. Long main range with 3 gables in the centre, each lit by 2
cusped lights with cusped oculi above. Buttressed gabled projections at each end,
that to the left hand side with a similar 2-light window, and that to the right hand
side larger, with a 4-light window and a door. Lower projections parallel to main
range to left and right. 2 truncated lateral chimney stacks. Contemporary gate
piers and railings to street.
