4/56 Blacksmith's Forge

GV II

Forge. 1864. Dressed rubble with brick dressings. Pantile roof, with a
single gable and a single ridge brick stacks. Single storey. South front
has a large cart entrance with double doors and brick quoined jambs, and a
single window under a segmental stone head, with external plank shutters.
In the gable wall is a plaque with a horseshoe and the date '1864'. Included
for group value only.
