Farm house; C17 with C18 and C19 alterations and additions. Coursed
limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings; C20 concrete tiled
roof with one stone coped gable, brick gable and ridge stacks. L-shaped
plan with C18 added wing with gable on to street. C17 wing of two
storeys with four bay front. C19 six panelled door with contemporary
wooden porch flanked by single C19 three light casement windows. On the
first floor two C18 glazing bar sashes. C18 wing is two storeys with
garrets and has one 2 light C19 casement window in gable end and two
small square shuttered openings to eaves. Inside this block are the
original studded partitions of servants' quarters. Included for group
value only.
