1851 by Wardell. Nave, aisles and chancel, Eastern tower and spire. Entrance
through tower. Style of circa 1300 with much decoration by Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin. 6-bay nave with granite piers. Modern organ gallery at west end. South aisle chapel with stone reredos. Baptistery, with wrought iron gates, in north-west bay. South-east chapel, also with wrought iron gates. Lady chapel at north-east. Panelled wagon roofs to chancel and chapels. Stone roof screen. Very tall tower arch now partly blocked by organ. Forecourt wall of coursed rubble. 5 piers with dressed stone cross-gabled tops. Wrought-iron overthrow with lampholder across main entrance.

All the listed buildings on the West Side of Crooms Hill from Nos 54 to 68
form a group.
