Afghan and Zulu War Memorial
(about 180 yds South-South-West
of Green Hill married quarters)

After 1881. Several large pieces of rough-hewn rock, assembled to look like
a megalith. BBse stone projects to form platform on East side. Central copper
plate above, with names of those remembered. At either side, 3-dimensional
trophies of Zulu and Afghan arms in cast copper.
