TQ 1769 SE KINGSTON-UPON-THAMES UNION STREET
Designed in 1920. Sculptor R R Goulden. Nude figure of a man bearing aloft a
flaming cross while trampling upon a serpent which he kills with a sword, as two
children shelter at his side. Granite podium with inscription (altered to include
the last war also).
