Mid C19. Former railway lookout tower on a straight line to Fenchurch Street.
The former Blackwall Railway Line joined the Fenchurch Street Line at the junction adjacent to the tower. Used in the post semaphore era of signalling.
Octagonal shape. Stock brick with white brick and stone dressings. Brick blocking course above stone cornice. 3 windows on alternate faces. Chimney now at rear.
