No 21


Terraced town house. c.1750-53. Brown brick, slate roof. 3 storeys,
basement and dormered mansard. 4 windows wide. Stone doorcase with
cornice on consoles to left of centre. Revealed sash windows, no
glazing bars, under flat gauged arches. Bracketed cornice below
parapet. 1st floor has full width early C19 cast iron balcony
projecting over entrance where it is carried on slender cast iron
supports. Cast iron area railings.
