Terrace house. 1725, with mid C19 and 1909-10 alterations. Red brick with stucco
dressings, slate roof. Four storeys, basement and attic with dormers. Four window
front with giant pilasters left and right incorporating stone entablature above second
floor. Attic pilasters similarly incorporate stone cornice with crowning parapet.
Tuscan porch with balustraded parapet. Sashes without glazing bars in architrave
surrounds, those on first floor with keystones and alternating pediments, keystones
only to second floor, flat gauged arches to top floor and cambered heads to the
dormers. Bracketed stone balconies to first floor with cast iron balustrades. C18
area railings with urn finials. Interior retains original front compartment staircase
wooden cut string with carved tread ends and twisted balusters. Elaborate original
stucco ceiling to compartment. Principal rooms with panelling, cornices and
chimneypieces in part original, in part Edwardian.
