Pair of houses. c.1860. Brick with stone dressings, hipped
slate roof. 2 storeys with attic, 4 bays, central 2 bays
break forward under gables, with recess between. Cornice to
ground floor, 1st floor sill band and top bracketed eaves;
quoins and decorative bargeboards. Ground floor has stone
canted bay windows with moulded window surrounds, cornices
and pierced parapets with embattled coping. 1st floor
windows have stone jambs and lintels with moulded openings.
All windows are sashed. Cusped pointed attic windows.
Entrances have gabled porches on round columns with foliate
capitals and flat-topped trefoil arches; half-glazed doors
with decorative grilles.
