C16 with symmetrical main block. Sandstone ashlar front. Gabled side elevations
in red brick with sandstone ashlar ground floors. Tiled roof with stone coping
to gables, red brick chimneystack with panels, rusticated quoins. 2 storeys,
1st floor moulded band. 3 triple light lattice casement windows in flush chamfered
surrounds with stone mullions. Central doorway with tall stone lintel, slightly
chamfered reveals, boarded nail studded door.
Interior: moulded beams, original stone fireplaces, 1 with carved chimneypiece,
early staircase said to conceal hiding place. VCH, IV, p 28.

Ram Hall and Barn form a group.
