Former farmhouse. Late C18. Brick with black pantiled roof. Nearly
square in plan. 2 storeys and basement. Main facade of 3 bays of sash
windows with glazing bars beneath skewback arches. Basement windows blind.
Panelled front door at head of 6 stone steps with metal railings and swept
handrails. Doorcase with traceried semicircular fanlight and simple
pilasters. Hipped roof and central stack.
