8/40 No.2.Rosemary Cottage


Cottage. C18 with traces of an earlier structure. Timber frame faced with
colourwashed brick and some flint. Thatched roof. Lobby-entrance type plan.
One storey with attic. Facade with 5 C19 2-light casements with glazing bars
beneath segmental arches. Rectangular porch with doorway opposite off-centre
axial stack. Single gabled dormer with shaped barge boards. Wedge tenoned
butt-purlin roof.
