8/16 Almshouses (Nos. 1-5


5 almshouses. 1603, rebuilt c.1870. Carstone with gault brick dressings
and slate roof. One storey with 3 gabled porches each double arched evenly
distributed. 2-light arched windows with Gothic Y tracery. Hollow dentil
eaves cornice, gabled roof and ridge stacks carrying paired diamond flues.
