5/47 South Lodge to Stradsett

_ II

Lodge. Early C19. Gault brick with slate roofs. L plan. One storey.
Southern portion comprises hexagonal canted bay under hipped roof at right
angles to main range. 4-centred door with applied intersecting tracery in
Gothick style. Fenestration of facets of bay and throughout lodge of 2-light
Y tracery under gauged 4-centred arches, all retaining leaded lights. Paired
modillion eaves cornice. North range with gabled roof and ridge stack left
of centre.
