Altar tomb memorial to James Greeve 1686, wife Martha 1722, children James
1728, and Elizabeth 1743. Brick walls, sandstone slab on top 18cm thick
with inscription "Here lyeth the Body of / JAMES GREEUE who was an / Assistant
to Sr. CLOUDISLY / SHOUEL in burning ye ships / in ye Port of Tripoly in
Barbary / Jan.ry 14th 1675/6 and for his good / service Pform'd was made
Capt. of the Ship called the Orange Tree of Algeir in / 1677 and presented
wth A Medal / of Gold by King CHARLES / ye 2d he Died April 14th 1686 / Aged
48 years / ...".
