Rail Farmhouse
TM 19 NW 22/475


C16/17 house. Plastered timber-frame. Steep pantile roof with gabled ends.
L-shaped on plan. North-east wing probably late C16, 2 storeys, small casements
and blocked windows with diamond-shape section mullions. Brick chimney stack
near junction with C17 south-west wing, 2 storeys and attic. C19 3-light
casements. One storey porch off centre in front of brick chimney stack.
