5/49 No 14, The Smithy


Cottage, c.1700; brick pantile roof with coped parapets. Late lobby entrance
of 2 cells, l½ storeys, wider cell to right with forward single storeyed range
now shop. Off centre left axial stack. Flemish bond brick with sawtooth
cornice, boarded door, 2-light casements to ground and first floor. Brick
tumbling in to gables; left return with renewed single storeyed pantiled
addition, right return with 2-light casement.
