5/14 The Old Hall
House. Early C18 raided and altered mid C19. Colourwashed brick with roofs
of black glazed pantiles. South front of 2 storeys and dormer attic in 5
bays. Panelled door in reeded case behind C19 porch. Fenestration of horned
sashes with glazing bars below gauged skewback arches. Triple dentiled eaves
cornice below bell-based gabled roof. Gabled dormer in centre, as is ridge
stack. Early C18 stepped external stack to west gable. 2 storey hipped C19
extensions to rear. C18 gabled cross wing to north.
