(Little Plumstead)
The Old Lodge.


Former gate lodge to Little Plumstead Hall. Early C19 of colourwashed brick
with slate roof. Single storey octagonal plan with eastern lean-to and
attached C20 gabled single storey wing to north. Rendered plinth and rusti-
cated quoins. Each face has a 2 centred arched opening with rusticated quoins,
containing 2 light casement windows with 'Y' tracery except south face which
contains a boarded door. Hipped roof and central octagonal gault brick stack.
C20 wing not of special interest.
