Great Houghton
The Old Rectory
SP 7958 24/428 3.5.68.

Early C18, in Rectory garden. Square plan, 2 storeys. Part chequer brickwork,
part stone. Hipped Welsh slated roof, formerly with square, arched cupola, supporting
weather vane in form of coiled snake. South front has round upper window; door
and easements, round arched, on grated floor.

Church of St Mary, The Old Rectory and Rectory Dovecote form a group.
