7 metres south of
Church of St.
Table tombs, C18. Sandstone. Eastern has lozenge-shaped shield with bearings,
carved in relief, and inscription to Michael Dunford, d.1726 and Catherine
Errington,'relict of Lancelot Errington of West Denton one of the heirs of
George Errington of Benwell'. 4 simple square legs. Western has fluted edge
with carved flowers, achievement in roundel and inscription to Cuthbert and
Hannah Turnbull, d.1778; 6 carved and moulded urn legs.

Legs laid recumbent beneath slabs at time of survey.
